Smithfield Street Party is a 3 – 10 minute walk from a handful of London Underground Stations:
> Barbican (Hammersmith & City Line, Metropolitan Line, Circle Line)
> Farringdon (Hammersmith & City Line, Metropolitan Line, Circle Line & Thameslink National Rail services)
> St Paul’s (Central Line)
> Moorgate (Main line railway, Hammersmith & City Line, Metropolitan Line and Northern lines)
> Old Street and Liverpool Street stations are also nearby.
The area is well served by buses. Find out the nearest bus stations and routes.
If you're cycling to Smithfield Street Party, cycle parking is available on Lindsey Street. There is a Santander docking station beneath the Museum of London on the roundabout on London Wall which is walking distance to the festival.
There are a handful of options for those visiting Culture Mile by car, including City of London car parks below Museum of London, a NCP car park on Aldersgate Street and Barbican Car Parks, which are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and are always manned.
The event incorporates Grand Avenue which runs through the centre of the market, Long Lane to East Poultry Avenue, West Smithfield, Rotunda Garden and Cloth Fair.
The majority of Smithfield Street Party is free, however there is a small charge to ride the carousel.

For everyone’s safety we’ll be carrying out bag checks at the event, so please do not bring large bags with you. There are no cloak room facilities.
Cycling is not permitted inside the event. Cycle parking will be available on Lindsay Street.
Children aged 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Yes! But please keep them on a short lead at all times. Water is available for dogs at The Doghouse.
Yes, but you don’t need to as there is a great range of food available at the event to suit all tastes.
Yes and yes! The entire event is family friendly, with accessible toilets including baby changing facilities, and a buggy park.
Please keep your valuables (and your children!) with you.
Yes. Much of the entertainment and activities are under cover, so don’t let the weather put you off!

Yes there will be a festival bar selling a variety of drinks, and remember that you can’t bring alcohol into the event. Glass isn’t allowed on site, and you’ll be asked to finish your drinks before leaving the event.
Bring a reusable water bottle that can be refilled at the free drinking water point.
Lindsey Street, Long Lane to East Poultry Avenue, West Smithfield, Rotunda Garden and Cloth Fair will be closed from early on Saturday 24 August until the afternoon on Monday 26 August.
By entering the event site you agree to be filmed and photographed. Images may be used by Culture Mile and its partners for press, marketing and archive purposes. If you do not want your photo to be taken or for photos of you to be used, please go to the info desk and we can ensure this is communicated to the relevant parties.
Toilets are available at both ends of Long Lane (including accessible facilities). There is also an accessible toilet at the rotunda car park.
