What happens next?

Between now and April 2022, we expect that the Culture Mile Partnership will undertake the following activity:

Establishing the Partnership: June – October 2021:

  • Building a board of founding members/partners and thematic steering groups
  • Deepening key relationships with local stakeholders, Culture Mile’s founding partners and the City of London Corporation
  • Undertaking a comprehensive breakdown of the levy-paying community and surveying their strategic aims
  • Setting a Delivery Plan and key priorities to be achieved by the Partnership up to March 2023

Launching the Partnership: October 2021 – April 2022:

  • Formally launching the Culture Mile Partnership
  • Outlining and delivering ‘demonstration projects’ as a response to the delivery plan, which compellingly communicate the value of a BID and demonstrate its potential impact in the area
  • Setting a ‘vision for the area’ by surveying local businesses, reviewing existing insight, connecting to developed City of London strategies and undertaking new research
  • Beyond April 2022 the Culture Mile Partnership will focus on delivering a positive result for the area’s BID vote in March 2023.
