Exploring the Barbican Highwalks

Ready Steady GO! is a live creative art adventure trail for 3 – 9 year olds and their families, where you can create your own cardboard car and ‘drive’ along the Barbican Highwalks, discovering the secrets of the local area.
Once you have decorated your newly painted car, you will accelerate through a bubbly car wash, road works and go on a journey discovering the secrets of the local area, arriving at Museum of London where you can pass your driver’s test & have a photo in our selfie booth. Then drive your unique car home!

Ready Steady Go is free, but spaces are limited and allocated on a first come first served basis. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the start time of the trail you’d like to take part in, or sign up at Level 1 Martini Bar to attend a session later in the day.
The trail begins by the Martini Bar on Level 1 of Barbican Foyer and ends at Museum of London. The total performance time will be 30 minutes, starting at the following times:
