Play Packs

Together with our partners we’re putting together packs to help you get the whole family creative at home, every month.

Issue #3

New adventures

This month’s pack is designed to help you explore and experience new adventures. What would life be like as a pirate? Can you create a theatre in your living room? From designing brand new creatures, to what life might look like in the future – let your imagination run wild!

This pack also features activities from partners and artists from Walthamstow Garden Party In The Air - a reimagining of East London’s biggest community-powered festival. Get creative at home and channel the spirit of the festival through a range of free activities, workshops, performances and radio programmes that you can discover

We’d love to know what you think of your Play Pack! You can get in touch with your pictures and ideas online at, on Instagram & Twitter at @CultureMileLDN or #culturemile. And don’t forget to subscribe to our newsletter to stay in touch!

All about you

This pack is all about you! What is life like for you and your grown-ups right now? What stories, pictures, or objects would you choose to share your experiences?

A note for grown-ups:

We hope that you and your kids have fun with our Culture Mile Play Pack – and create magical and creative, noisy and wild, messy and weird times together!

There’s no right or wrong way to use the materials within the pack. Whether you’re letting them get on with it, or picking up a play prompt together and getting stuck in: enjoy.
