We were inspired by the hand-painted signs found in Smithfield and wanted to showcase this in the creative for our Smithfield 150 celebrations.
We worked with Anyways and Tocan Signs, creating a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted sign. This original sign was used for our Smithfield 150 logo.

The typeface we developed draws inspiration from the the traditional type foundries which we abundant in the Farringdon and Smithfield area.
Many of the original signs from the late 19th and early 20th Century can still be found in the area.
