Interested in working in sound, music, radio or podcast production? Have a passion for the arts? Aged between 15 and 19?
There are still a handful of places available to join our Words on the Street project.
For one intense week this summer, meet 10 other young women and make noise, tell your stories, listen to each other, and show us your world through sound, speech and beats. Working with professional artists, you will write, record, and produce a sound piece for visitors to experience via mobile headphones at the Smithfield Street Party, 25th August 2019.
Words on the street is a great opportunity to:
- Work with professional artists
- Gain new skills
- Be part of a team with other young women
- Speak up about issues you think are important
- Have fun over the summer holidays
- Build your confidence and CV
You don’t need any specific experience just enthusiasm and commitment to attending all the workshops.
