Hang out in an inclusive and relaxed under fives area curated by MOTHERBRUNCH – open to all parents/carers of young children. Take part in creative, arts-led activities and feast on healthy food. Drop in activities include artist workshops, pilates, live musicians, a dedicated baby area and lots more.

MOTHERBRUNCH communal feasting picnic

Join our free Sunday Lunch picnic feast celebrating the vibrant cultural diversity of London. We invite you to get involved by bringing your own picnics too! Think mouth watering salads, handmade breads, greek pastries, summer rolls, and a cultural mile of sandwich to name but a few. Expect a feast for eyes, and for the tinies, with plentiful offerings for all ages.


Celebrate the colourful history of Smithfields in our children’s market space play area. Use our colourful props, tills, fruit, vegetables and take home info sheets to re-enact market sellers and customers, and let your imagination run wild.

Day Job Studio clay workshop

Artists Charlotte Mei and Katie Johnston from Day Job Studio presents arts and craft workshops with a summer garden party theme. Join in with a clay session on Sunday and take home bold and playful artworks inspired by summery flowers, fruits and props.

Nimble Tots

From Anansi and the Spicy Beans, to Snorglepuff the Hungry Monster – join our resident storyteller and musician Becky from Nimble Tots for some live cello tunes and playful adventures.

OKIDO colour sheets

Pick up a free super food colour sheet and crayons to doodle your own superheroes in your own time.

Relaxation/movement Pilates with Labyrinth Yoga Pilates

Relax and unwind this Sunday in these free, twenty minute sessions with Simone from Labyrinth Yoga Pilates. Suitable for all soon to be parents, new/old parents and carers of young children. There will be an assistant on hand to help to look after babies and young children.

Baby Area

Our MOTHERBRUNCH baby area will provide a space to hang and relax for those with children under 18 months of age. This will include toys, picnic blankets/pillows for breastfeeding or feeding and a baby changing area.
