Barbican Cinemas

Opened by Dame Vivienne Westwood in 2012, Barbican Cinemas 2&3 are located near the Centre’s main Silk Street entrance on Beech Street. The twin 153-seat cinemas show new releases, specially curated seasons and weekly Parent and Baby screenings. Both screens are equipped with digital projection, plus 35mm and 16mm reflecting the Barbican’s commitment to presenting archive and world cinema.

The venue is well-equipped to welcome access customers, with both screens and toilet facilities made accessible. The cinema café, which features a montage with hundreds of photographs of film stars, is perfect for a pre-film drink and snack.
