City of London Family of Schools

The Culture Mile partner organisations work closely with the City of London's Family of Schools to develop, trial, and deliver cultural learning programmes.

The City’s Family of Schools work in close partnership with each other, enabling staff to share best practice and expertise, and provide new opportunities for pupils. Each school is a unique entity yet together share a common purpose and aims.

The City Corporation's schools are:

The Aldgate School (formerly known as Sir John Cass’s Foundation Primary School), a state maintained primary school

City of London Academy Hackney (CoLAH, co-sponsored with KPMG)

City of London Academy Islington (CoLAI, cosponsored with City University)

The City of London Academy Trust (CoLAT) has three primary, and four secondary schools, along with a sixth form college. These are:

Galleywall Primary School, Redriff Primary School, and Primary Academy Islington (CoLPAI)

City of London Academy Southwark (CoLAS), Shoreditch Park, Highbury Grove, Highgate Hill, and Newham Collegiate Sixth Form.

There are also three independent schools:
