Culture Mile Nights

Subtitle test

Culture Mile Nights is a programme of after-dark events that explores the night time economy of Smithfield.

From the wild debauchery of Bartholomew’s Fair to the 20th anniversary of one of London’s most influential night clubs, fabric, the area plays a fascinating role in the culture of the city.

Culture Mile Nights celebrates this role through everything from pub quizzes to immersive live performance; from poet and performer Joshua Idehen through to interactive theatre makers Coney.

Culture Mile Nights is inspired by - and responds to - Barbican's major exhibition Into the Night: Cabarets and Clubs in Modern Art and the Museum of London's The Clash: London Calling display.
