Take your pick from the free, fun activities for families at Culture Mile the weekend of the 15th- 16th December!

The Museum of London and the Barbican will be hosting everything from arts & crafts and musical games, through to soft play and imaginative storytelling.

 

Squish Space Lab Day: Experiments in sound and light

Children aged 5 and under are invited to a special day of soft play and experimentation. Your little ones will delight in this curiosity driven playground for the senses!

Improvised Music & Storytelling

Join Ad-Lib for a family-friendly session of musical games and adventures! A trio of professional musicians will weave the audience’s choices into a brand new musical story in the moment. Come prepared with your best ideas for larger-than-life characters, and be ready to sing along with us. Perfect for ages 5 – 10 and their families.

The Legend of Babushka

Older children aged 5 + will enjoy taking part in this interactive retelling of the traditional Russian story in which a little old lady heads off to see the baby Jesus. After the story, discover different wrapping paper designs and create your own.

Season’s Greetings card-making craft workshop

Design a beautiful sparkly card to send to friends and family this festive season. Whether your little one wants to say thank you with a card after the Festival of Lights or design a Christmas card masterpiece. Families are invited to get creative and inspired by seasonal cards in the Museum’s collection.
