Bodies in Urban Spaces

An imaginative, immersive performance: walking tour meets parkour

1 Principal PlaceCommunity
Bodies packed into a ornate doorway in Alexandria, Eygpt.

Thursday 13 June and Friday 14 June, 1 Principal Place (starting point), 8.30am, 12.30pm and 5.30pm

Austrian choreographer Willi Dorner brings his imaginative, immersive performance to the City, where viewers will watch performers squeeze their bodies into seemingly impossibly tight nooks and crannies for this pop-up piece – bodies in urban spaces.

Follow the group of brightly dressed dancers, performers and free runners as they travel through the City from Liverpool Street to the Barbican, creating a moving chain of temporary physical interventions and contortions. Watch as the troupe intertwine and stack their bodies in doorways, arches, alcoves, alley ways and gaps in public buildings along the route.

In partnership with Culture Mile, New London Architecture and Brookfield Properties.

All performances start at 1 Principal Place, EC2A 2BA
