West Ham Park in Newham is a beautiful green space, where a bespoke programme of rich outdoor learning experiences is offered for local schools. There are a number of outdoor learning sessions designed to give schoolchildren the opportunity to develop their skills beyond the classroom in a fun, safe and engaging environment. A visit to the park allows them to develop an understanding of the natural world around them, and sessions can be linked to a variety of subjects including science, maths, history, geography, literacy and art.
From inspiration for creative writing in the nature gardens to dynamic maths lessons on the playing fields, West Ham Park offers an engaging setting to enrich all curriculum subjects.
