The Innovation Studio was an intensive one-day workshop bringing together senior leaders from across commercial and creative sectors to address big issues vital to their organisation, in a new and innovative way.

The Innovation Studio was led by renowned design and innovation experts Jeremy Myerson and Imogen Privett of WORKTECH Academy, the world’s leading online knowledge platform and membership club, exploring the future of work and workplace.  

Through the Innovation Studio participants were able to:

• Take away solutions and actions to address challenges critical to their business or organisation
• Take away Design Thinking tools and skills for collaborative, solution focused and creative problem-solving to apply within their team, organisation, and sector
• Build cross-sector networks and relationships across the area’s business community

The Innovation Studio is part of Culture Mile’s Creative Exchange programme, a wide-ranging skills and knowledge sharing programme offering two-way skills development opportunities between the creative and commercial sectors, supported by founding partner Bloomberg L.P. ‍About WORKTECH  Academy

Professor Jeremy Myerson is a leading researcher, author and activist in workplace design and innovation. Jeremy is Director of WORKTECH Academy, Professor Emeritus at the Royal College of Art and is a Visiting Fellow at the University of Oxford.

Dr Imogen Privett is a designer and reseacher, Senior Research Associate at WORKTECH Academy and an Associate Director at UnWork. She has recently concluded a PhD at the Royal College of Art, exploring the effects of coworking on workplace design practice. Prior to this, Imogen worked in architectural practice with projects including UK headquarters for Barclays, Macquarie Bank and Reuters.
