Gallery Tour: a facilitated, interactive guided tour with an Education Officer in the Art Gallery.

These facilitated interactive guided tours are suitable for a range of pupils, from primary school, secondary school, and aged 16-19. Curriculum links can be made to English, Maths, Geography, History, Science, PE, and Art.

Students will be encouraged to use questioning to help them discover the highlights of the collection and the history of the site. These interactive tours are bespoke, and can be tailored to the school’s subject/current scheme of work – for example the Victorians, Romans, Medieval London, Classics, Economics, The City of London, The Pre-Raphaelites and many more. Tours are facilitated by a trained archaeologist or art historian.

These sessions encourage skill development in communication and creativity.
